Manufacturers have also redefined their own definition of tunics and plus size tunic blouses. Generally most people who remember the original tunics of the 20th century will know that they were always in one piece – they didn’t ever incorporate buttons or other fasteners like some of the more contemporary tunic blouses on the market do today. In fact when you look at what some clothing houses offer in terms of tunics, there is really no difference between long blouses and tunics. You might just as well call them tunic blouses, which is what a lot of people (including manufacturers) do.
