Find full figure lingerie that fits you like it’s supposed to

No matter how sexy you want to feel, if you don’t have lingerie that fits you, you’ll feel like everyone can see how uncomfortable you are. One of the key pieces of full figure lingerie that every woman must have is a good-fitting bra. Full-figure lingerie has changed a lot in the last few years. Nowadays, you don’t have to buy plain white or nude bras like your grandmother or mother might have worn. Instead, you can find full-figure bras in bright colors and a variety of material. But, even more important is to find one that fits. If you are uncomfortable visiting a lingerie store and having someone there measure you, here is how you can do it on your own.

First, you need to measure your band size. Breathe out, and place the tape measure around you, underneath your bust. Take that number and round up or down to the nearest inch. If this is an odd number, add five inches to this number to get your band size. If the number is an even number, add four inches to it to get your band size. Then, you need to measure your cup size. Take the tape measure, and place it around you, measuring yourself at the fullest part of your bust. Don’t hold the tape measure too tightly around you, though, or you won’t get an accurate measurement. Again, round up or down to the closest inch. Finally, take your band size measurement and subtract it from your cup size measurement. Based on that number, here is your cup size.

However, keep in mind that for a lot of full figure lingerie, just like with other women’s clothing, is rarely standard among different designers, so make sure you try on a bra before buying it. You might find that one designer’s DDDD is another designer’s G or H. A bra fits you if the center panel lays flat against your skin. If it doesn’t fit against your body, you need to find a bra with a larger cup size. Make sure that no matter what size is printed on the label, it is comfortable and fits you correctly.
Also, if you have a larger cup size, look for a bra that has an under wire—which is essential for support throughout the day—and wider straps—so it doesn’t dig into your shoulders and leave permanent marks in your skin.
Whatever plus-size mother of groom dress you choose to wear, the best tip is to make sure that you are comfortable. If you are comfortable, you’ll shine.
